Psychotherapy & Psychoanalysis
Psychotherapy and psychoanalysis provide a unique environment to reflect, explore, and gain a deeper understanding of yourself. It is a process that allows old patterns to be examined and new possibilities to emerge.
Many people seek therapy when they feel distressed, anxious, or depressed, or when they are struggling with a life transition or a relationship that feels stuck or painful. Others come with a desire to grow, to live with greater authenticity, or to deepen their capacity for connection.
Change does not come from quick fixes or forced solutions. Instead, it develops slowly through thoughtful attention, a connected relationship, and the conditions that facilitate lasting growth and transformation.
I am a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst with 30 years of clinical experience. I work with individuals and couples who want to understand themselves more deeply, work through emotional pain and conflict, improve relationships, and live with greater self-awareness. My approach is guided by careful listening, honest feedback, and respect for each person’s unique path.
I help people facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, life transitions as well as those searching for personal meaning and purpose.
My training spans many settings including residential treatment, psychiatric hospitals, outpatient clinics and private practice. For ten years, I served on the clinical staff at The Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills, where I trained and supervised doctoral and MFT interns in psychodynamic psychotherapy with individuals, couples, and groups.
I am currently a supervising faculty member at the Wright Institute Los Angeles and a training and supervising analyst at the Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies (LAISPS). I am also a Fellow of the International Psychoanalytic Association (FIPA) and co-founder of Community West Treatment Center in West Los Angeles. These roles allow me to contribute to the growth of future therapists while continually deepening my own practice.
I maintain a private practice in West Los Angeles, where I see individuals and couples both in-person and online.
